Anybody can join. All OpinionSite members must complete a basic profiling survey in order to get started. The more we know about you, the more surveys we can invite you to participate in.

What are my responsibilities as an OpinionSite member?
We ask that our members provide thoughtful and honest responses to the surveys they participate in. Failure to do so may result in the termination of your membership and forfeiture of any points earned.
An individual may only have one active account at any given time and only that individual should ever use it to participate in surveys. An account holder must provide a valid legal name, mailing address, email account, and any other requested information in order to register and become a member of OpinionSite.
At any time, violating these responsibilities may cause OpinionSite to terminate your membership, forfeiting any rewards that have been earned.I have not received my confirmation email. What should I do?
Participating in OpinionSite Surveys
How do I participate in surveys?
Finish your full registration on OpinionSite and verify your email address by clicking on the link in the confirmation email you receive in your mailbox. After this step has been completed, you will receive an invitation by email if a survey matches your profile. You can also find available surveys in the "Surveys" section on OpinionSite. The more up to date your Profiler surveys are, the more chances you have of being invited to take part in surveys you may qualify for.
Why don’t I have any available surveys?
We apologize if there are no surveys available for you at this time. Please check your email for invitations often, as surveys are added throughout the day. We encourage you to respond to surveys as soon as you receive the opportunity, since popular studies may close quickly once all of the needed information has been collected.
Sometimes it seems as though I've answered a lot of questions, only to find out I don't qualify for the whole survey. Why?
This is because some surveys are looking for a very specific group of people who meet a very narrow set of demographic or other criteria. Sometimes, determining whether someone qualifies for a survey takes just a few questions, while other times it may require more information from you. Please know that we appreciate your participation and that, even when you don't qualify, your participation helps contribute to the success of the study.
How much time will I spend completing a survey?
The length of each individual survey will vary. Your email invitation will clearly indicate how long it should take to complete the survey and what is being offered as compensation for your time.
How am I compensated for my time?
Each survey will have a specific honorarium associated with it. We understand that your time is valuable and we strive to offer competitive and appropriate compensation to you. This is why you will never receive less than 50 points for your participation.

I forgot my user name/password. What should I do?
Your user name is the email address you registered with. If you don’t remember it, please contact us. To reset your password, click on the tab labeled “Password reset” above and follow the instructions on the page.
How do I update my profile?
After logging in, click on the tab called “Surveys,” where you will find a profile administration page to update your information as well as participate in more in-depth profiling surveys.

What do you do with my personal details?
Any information provided to us will be retained and used solely for the purposes of fulfilling your requests, responding to your questions, offering you opportunities to participate in surveys, performing and carrying out the terms of OpinionSite (including fulfilling any rewards), or communicating with you as a member of OpinionSite.
We support the rights of our members by limiting the use of their information to legitimate market research purposes, and we make every effort to conform to industry standards created to uphold ethical survey research.

Why do you ask questions about age, income, and other personal information?
This information is used to match members with specific survey requirements. In some cases our clients require feedback from people in a certain income bracket or those who have children, for example. Please be assured that this information is securely kept and strictly confidential. See our privacy policy for more details.
The more information you provide, the greater your chances of receiving invitations to surveys you may qualify for, and the more opportunities you may receive to earn cash rewards.
What kind of emails should I expect to receive?
We will send you invitations to take surveys or administrative emails regarding your account. We will never use, sell, or loan your email address to advertisers and you will never receive any email offers or spam from us.

Points, Rewards, & Reward Payments
What are the ways I can earn points?
First, you must be a registered member with a verified email address to begin accumulating points. Once you complete your registration, you will receive your first 1,400 points. You can earn points by completing surveys found here on OpinionSite or through invitations you receive via email, filling out your Profiler surveys, and even by inviting your friends to join.
What kind of rewards do you offer for the points I have?
You can redeem your points for electronic gift cards at major retailers, as well as for checks or other non-gift card related items.
How do I request a rewards payment?
Within our Community, you can request a reward once you have earned enough points. Our rewards portal will help you determine which rewards you have earned sufficient points for.
When you redeem your points for a cash reward paid by check, you will be asked to confirm your address. Please make certain we have your correct address to avoid any delays in delivery.
How can I find out how many points I have?
To see how many points you have, please log in to your account and click on the tab labeled “Rewards.” You can also see your points history and order rewards.
Is there a minimum amount I need in order to request a rewards payment?
Yes, the rewards portal will show you how many points are required for each available reward. You may request to be paid any amount equal to or less than your current account balance.
How long does it take to receive a rewards payment once requested?
E-gift cards are issued weekly and are the quickest option, with a processing time of 1 to 2 weeks to reach our members. Checks take longer to process and are issued monthly. They will be received 6 to 8 weeks after submitting your request due to the manual nature of issuing the reward.
I haven't received/I am missing reward points. What should I do?
